1995 Bimota DB2SR – Rare, Original, and Immaculate

Stunning Condition

This 1995 Bimota DB2SR has travelled just 24,819 km and remains in remarkable original condition. The paintwork is near faultless, with only a couple of small chips on the tank and tail, while the colours are still as vibrant as the day it left the factory.

Notable Features and Pricing

A Rare and Desirable Model

First launched in 1993, the Bimota DB2 was powered by Ducati’s air/oil-cooled 900 Super Sport engine. In 1995, the DB2SR was introduced with a significant upgrade—fuel injection—delivering more power and improved mid-range torque. Only around 157 examples were ever built, making this one of the rarest and most desirable Bimotas, second only to the DB1 in collectability.

High-End Italian Engineering

The DB2SR was a premium machine for its time, equipped with Paoli front forks, an Öhlins rear shock, and full-floating Brembo brakes. Interestingly, Ducati themselves did not add fuel injection to the 900SS motor until 1999, putting Bimota ahead of the curve in the mid-90s.

Recently Serviced and Ready to Ride

This example has been exceptionally well cared for and has just undergone a full service, including new timing belts, fresh oil, and filters. We will also fit brand new Bridgestone tyres for the next owner.
