Honda’s RC51 VTR1000 SP-1 was born out of pure competitive intent. Unveiled at the end of 1999, this was Honda at its most determined—built to challenge and defeat Ducati on both the racetrack and the showroom floor. Wearing its Honda Racing Corporation pedigree proudly, the SP-1 remains one of the most significant V-twin superbikes ever produced.
