HRC Bred V-Twin

Unveiled at the end of 1999, the RC51 was developed by Honda as a dedicated homologation based race machine and represented a significant step forward from the VTR1000 Firestorm.

The SP1 featured a 999cc V-twin, gear driven camshafts and technology developed through Honda Racing Corporation. It was designed to compete directly with Ducati in World Superbike racing, while also being offered as a road going production motorcycle.

Recent Work

The wheels have just been powder coated and the bike has been fitted with brand new Bridgestone tyres. It also has a near new battery.
